Day Thirty-Seven
I dropped off the reduced, but still fat, version of the Stetson Hat story and I'm considering titles along the lines of Passing the hat. I don't know. I may have taken the heart out of the story. I'm presently revising, Dream The Moon which is one that hasn't been and won't be critiqued. A few people gave me feedback on this one as well as the instructors so I have a good idea what does and does not need to change. This one needs a revision rather than a rewrite and thus I suspect it won't be so daunting.

I have four boxes packed and ready to go into the car.

This morning critiquing session was rather frustrating for me, even though nothing of mine was up for critique, so I went off to Taco Hell to walk off some nervous energy. At the present rate, it appears everyone who has a story turned in will probably be critiqued before the end of Clarion.

If I can get my critiques finished early, and the story revision goes well, I may try to revise another one. The real reason for doing this, of course, is so I don't have to carry home several stacks of critiques. I will be saving top sheets and/or bottom sheets... but I don't want to carry home entire documents so I can find any copyediting changes made in them.
