Nathan Hunt & Others Deed to Isaac Carter

This indenture made the 5th day of the second Month in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and thirty nine between Nathan Hunt Sen Nathan Hunt Jr & Thomas T. Hunt of the County of Guilford and State of North Carolina of the one part and Isaac Carter of the County and State aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth.. That for for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred & twenty five dollars to the said Isaac Carter in hand paid, the receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge and therefore doth release acquit and discharge the said Nathan Hunt Sr Nathan Hunt Jr & Thomas T. Hunt their Executors and administraotrs; by these presents they the said Nathan Hunt Sr, Nathan Hunt Jr & Thomas T. Hunt hath granted, bargained, sold, aliened, confirmed, and conveyed and by these presents doth grant, bargain, sell, alien, confirm and convey unto the said Isaac Carter and his heirs, a certain piece or parcel of land lying and being in the County of Guilford in North Carolina. Bounded as follows (viz) Beginning at Sapsapras and running South Eight poles to a Post Oake thence south 40 degrees west ninety eight poles along Nathan Hoggatts line to an elm, thence N 55 degrees west thirty six poles to a drain thence north

North 30 degrees west twenty poles up the drain. thence north 8 degeres west twenty seven and a half poles to a Maple. Thence west along Carters line. Fifty poles to a black Jack, thence north along Kindale line One hundred and twenty poles to a Black Oak, Thence east one hundred & fifty poles to a stake, thence south one hundred & ten poles to the beginning. Containing One Hundred & Thirty Seven Acres be the same more or less... and all houses, orchards, ways, waters, water courses, profits, commodities, hereditaments and appurtenances whatsoever to the said premises hereby granted or to any part thereof belonging or in any wise appertaining and the revisiong and revisionis remainder and remainders rents, issues and profits thereof; and also, all the Estate right, title, interests, use, trust, property and demand whatsoever of them the said Nathan Hunt Sr., Nathan Hunt Jr & Thomas T. Hunt of in and to the said premises and all deeds, evidences and writing. Touching or in any wise concerning the same. To have and to hold the lands hereby conveyed, and all and singular other the premises hereby bargained and sold, and every part and parcel thereof with their and every of their appertenances unto the Said Isaac Carter his heirs and asigns forever, to the only proper use and behoof of him the said Isaac Carter and of his heirs and assigns forever. And the said Nathan Hunt Sr, nathan Hunt Jr and Thomas T. Hunt for their Heirs, Executors, and administrators, doth convenant to and with the said isaac Carter his heirs and assigns by these presents, that the said Hunts now at the time of sealing and delivering these presents is seized of a good, sure per fect and indefensible estate of inheritance, in fee simple of and iin the premises hereby Bargained and Sold and that he has good power and lawful and absolute authority to Grant and convey the same to the said Isaac Carter in manner and form aforesaid and that the said premises now are and do forever hereafter shall remain and be free of from all gifts, grants, bargains, sold, dower, right and title of dower, judgments, executions, titles, troubles, charges, and incumbrances whatsoever, made, done, committed or suffered by the sait Nathan Hunt Sr, Nathan Hunt Jr and Thom T. Hunt or any other person and that the said Nathan Hunt Sr Nathan Hunt Jr & Tho T. Hunt and their heirs, all and singular, the premises hereby bargained and sold with the appurtenances unto the said Isaac Carter his heirs and assigns against them the said Hunts and their heirs and all and every person and persons whatsoever shall warrant and ever defent by these presents... In witness whereof the said Hunts hath hereunto set his hand and Seal, the day and year above written
